Ace Race 2010

I was the tournament directer for the Ace Race disc golf tournament this year. Had a pretty good turnout with 40 players on a very wet and rainy day. It was a fun day with some great friends. I played with Ramona, Lance, and Gene (Alicia's brother) and two young kids from Winona. Lance, Gena and I all had basket hit's but no aces in the group. Can't wait for next year.

Human Power Trails and the Stubborn Deer

Lance and Nick and I went to the Human Power Trails to ride. This was my first time riding these trails. We had a blast! It was a different type of riding for me. The trails were narrow, rocky and very technical. I only fell once and was wishing that I didn't have the clip in pedals. We came across three deer that were right in the middle of the trail. They insisted on holding their ground and didn't move until we were about 20 feet from them. Had a blast and can't wait to go back and ride again!

Gothic Abbie? No! It's back to school Abbie!

Fist day of school.

Monday was Abbie's first day of school at the Paul Mitchell Hair Academy! Black is the dress code for school. Can't wait to see the pink and green hair! Were so excited for Abbie. She has been doing hair for years and is going to do awesome!

Sunday we went and watched Lyvia perform in the Reed music show at UWL. Lyvia played a solo and then a duet with friend Afton. I could not use flash so the pictures are not so good. The music was awesome! Great job Lyvia! Brook was honarable mention with the violin. The girls are blessed with so much music ability! Then on to Carlos O' Kelly's to celebrate! Great job girls!

Holmen Square 5k Run

Ramona and I ran the Holmen Square 5k run today. Jayde was supposed to run with us but chose to snooze instead.  Those 9 am runs on Saturday are not for her. Ramona got second in her age group! Way to go Ramona!
