Chileda Classic 2011

Ramona, Jayde and I all ran the 5k at the Chileda Classic on Saturday. We all finished in about the same time. Jayde sprinted ahead and finished about fifteen seconds ahead of Ramona and I. Other than the running I had a great time.

Wazee on a hot day

    What better way to spend the day than Lake Wazee. It was hot! 94 degrees hot! Ramona and I headed out to spend the day. Jayde was on the river with Zach. Spent the day in between the sand and the water. Swam some laps back and forth.

     Got home and relaxed for a bit and then headed down to LaCrosse to pick up are race packets for the Chileda Classic 5k race on Saturday. Hoping it cools down a bit before the race.

    Ended the night with 18 holes of disc golf at Pettibone. Didn't play the best. Had three birdies but also had two bogies for -1. The river is still high, almost ten feet. That only a couple of feet below flood stage. The river should be between four to five feet this time of year. I guess it only makes sense that it's way off. Everything weather related has been off this year.
