Sectionals 5-27-10

Sectionals were held at Madison Memorial. Jayde was tickled pink just to qualify in the 200. She ran a 28.69. This was her second best time of the year. All in all it was not a great day for the Holmen girls. We had no state qualifiers this year. The boys had two. Garrett Stoke in the 400 and a pole-volter. Not sure of his name.

On to next year. Coach Jennings has already approached Jayde about running the 300 hurdles next year. I've been trying to get her to put those long legs to work jumping all year. But hey! What does dad know? We''ll see.

All in all it was a good year for Jayde. To qualify for sectionals was a treat. Next year who knows. Maybe state. But if not it's no big deal to me just as long as Jayde does her best and enjoys the experience. So ends another year. I'm sad to see it end.
